The new 50,000-square foot multi-purpose facility includes a full-sized competition pool, state-of-the-art cardio fitness center, gymnasium, outdoor sports field, and fully equipped weight training area. With 25,000-square feet of space for community partners, the YMCA of Greater Dayton has proudly partnered with Premier Health, CareSource, CountyCorp, Goodwill Easterseals of Miami Valley, and Wright State University to bring the Premier Health YMCA to the vibrant communities in West Dayton.

Robin Carter, the Premier Health Y’s Executive Director, says she is excited to bring the Y’s approach to health and wellness to a new population of members. “The opening of the Premier Health YMCA marks a pivotal moment for Northwest Dayton, promising a hub for health, unity, and community empowerment. It's a testament to our commitment to transforming lives and fostering a vibrant, thriving neighborhood."

Situated on the Salem Avenue Peace Corridor, the new facility is focused on providing the services the Y is known for while creating space for community partners to reach those in West Dayton. President & CEO Dale Brunner said, “This new YMCA not only boasts state-of-the-art fitness equipment and room for a unique offering of fitness classes and wellness support, but it also allows us to welcome partners into the facility where they too can make a difference in the community.”

As growth continues across Greater Dayton, the YMCA is committed to expanding its reach and meeting communities where they are to offer opportunities for health, education, and social responsibility development.

Brunner said, “This is a turning point for the Y, and the Premier Health YMCA wouldn’t have been possible without the support of partners, donors, and the community of Y members who were committed to making a dream into a reality At the end of the day, we want to use this new facility to continue the mission of the Y: to serve those around and make the world a brighter and better place.”
