Volunteer of the Year Award Presented To Fairborn Supporter
Marilyn McCaulley received award of appreciation from Fairborn YMCA

[Fairborn, OH 4/01/14] – The YMCA of Greater Dayton is pleased to recognize Marilyn McCaulley as the Fairborn YMCA volunteer of the year.

As an owner of McManagement Group and City Council Member in Fairborn, she became a part of the Fairborn YMCA Advisory Board in 2011. She completed her term as Board Chair this last September, but remains active on the board. Marilyn’s enthusiasm for the YMCA and its mission are evident in her level of advocacy for the YMCA.

Marilyn brought fresh ideas and accountability to our volunteers, helped us achieve our branch goals and the goals of our board to become and remain engaged in the prosperity of the YMCA. Marilyn has assisted with continued support of the YMCA and its mission. She is a great collaborator and a champion for the Fairborn Y.

The award was presented during the YMCA's 143rd Annual Meeting at the David H. Ponitz Center at Sinclair in Dayton on March 13th. The event raised over $22,000 for the YMCA's Annual Campaign and consisted of a silent auction, dinner and a program where volunteers and staff were recognized for their contributions to the success of the YMCA of Greater Dayton.
