YMCA Camp Kern Announces 2005 Volunteer of the Year
March 21, 2005- The YMCA of Greater Dayton recently held its 134 th Annual Meeting at the Schuster Center in Dayton. The event raised close to $21,000 for the YMCAs annual Strong Kids Campaign. The event consisted of a silent auction, dinner and a program where volunteers and staff were both recognized for their contributions to the success of the YMCA of Greater Dayton.
During the program, the YMCA Camp Kern recognized Jennifer Kirtland as their 2005 Volunteer of the Year. Jennifer Kirtland is the Managing Editor for Gardner Publications and is an avid supporter and volunteer for YMCA Camp Kern. Jennifer's passion for marketing and graphic design has made her a vital part of the Beat the Hill and Special Events Committees. Whether it is a t-shirt design, dressing up as a tiger or a bandit, or just lending a hand, Jennifer is one of the reasons for Camp Kern's success. She is not only a solid piece to our volunteer foundation; Jennifer is one of the Kern family. Thank you Jennifer for all that you do!
