The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from ASHI gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting.

From getting started with their business, to dealing with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving and first aid tips, the magazine-formate CABS guide and vlogger-style video make learning fun.

This course is perfect for pre-teens (as young as 11 years old) to young adults interested in babysitting as a business, or who have responsibility for younger family members.

Prerequisites: None, however, CPR+AED and Basic First Aid certification is strongly recommended and can be taken upon completion of this course.

Required for Completion: A written evaluation and active participation in the course activities.

Skills Evaluation: Students must perform required skills competently without assistance.

Successful completion is based on achievement of the core learning objectives rather than a prescribed instruction time.

CPR+AED and Basic First Aid certifications are not included in this course, but are highly recommended upon completion of this course.
