The YMCA of Greater Dayton supports kids in learning to swim, play a sport or participating in Day Camp or Child Care.

The YMCA of Greater Dayton annual Strong Kids Campaign ensures that no one is denied the opportunity to share in the YMCA experience due to an inability to pay. Each year, thousands of kids learn to swim, play and compete in youth sports leagues, go to summer camp, learn new skills and make new friends at the YMCA.

Your donation to the 2012 Strong Kids Campaign changes lives. As a supporter of the campaign, your gift benefits children and their families by making YMCA memberships and programs available to everyone. For over 140 years, our YMCA has been building stronger neighbors and communities in the Miami Valley. This past year, an increasing number of families in our community faced tough economic challenges and the YMCA has seen an increase in requests for financial assistance.

In 2011, the YMCA of Greater Dayton raised over $880,000 to provide financial assistance for thousands of families throughout the community. As the requests increase, so does the need for funds to provide these services. Your donation is an investment in our community and all dollars raised in the local community stay in the community to support kids and families.
