The Xenia YMCA was founded in 1867 and has been proudly serving Xenia and the surrounding communities for 140 years by providing programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
The Xenia branch offers a wide array of programs for both children and adults, including before and after-school care for the Xenia Community Schools and private schools in Xenia. The facilities include four-lane, twenty-yard swimming pool, Health Center that includes a sauna and whirlpool, indoor running/walking track, racquetball/handball courts, full gymnasium, and cardio and strength training equipment. Child Watch is available for small children while their parents take part in fitness classes.

SEVERE WEATHER POLICY
For your safety and the safety of our staff, the YMCA of Greene County may be forced to cancel classes and/or close for a portion of the day during severe weather. The policy for the Xenia YMCA is as follows:
Level III Building Closed
Levels Xenia Schools Cancelled
I & II 1. No morning swim lessons/fitness classes, Child Watch is open.
2. The decision for afternoon classes will be made by 12:00 noon.
3. The decision for evening classes will be made by 3:00 p.m.
Xenia Schools Delayed
1. No morning swim lessons/fitness classes, Child Watch is open.
2. Afternoon and evening classes as scheduled.
Bad Weather Developing During the Day
1. The decision for afternoon classes will be made by 12:00 noon.
2. The decision for evening classes will be made by 3:00 p.m.
Morning Classes 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Afternoon Classes 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Evening Classes 4:00 p.m. to Closing
