SUMMER TEEN PROGRAMS AT THE Y!
Teens in Action/Mentors Matters
If you are interested in building your leadership and teamwork skills, meeting new friends, swimming, playing games, all while making a difference in your community, then this camp is for you!
Teens in Action is a YMCA service-learning day camp for youth ages 13-16 and is based out of the YMCA of Greater Dayton Association Services Office. Each summer we combine summer fun with various community service projects throughout the Dayton area.
Activities include teambuilding games, leadership activities, swimming, field trips, and serving in Dayton and the surrounding communties. We also participate in the Mentors Matter program where we connect with area professionals and work to develop character core values through team building and the game of golf.
This is a fantastic way to connect your teen with other teens from the area and adults who care and want to be a positive role model in your teen’s life.
