Volunteer of the Year Award Presented To Xenia Supporter
Steve Brodsky received award of appreciation from Xenia YMCA

Steve Brodsky - xenia[Xenia, OH 4/01/14] – The YMCA of Greater Dayton is pleased to recognize Steve Brodsky as the Xenia YMCA volunteer of the year.

Steve has served on the Xenia YMCA advisory board since 2007 and has held several terms as board president. Steve is the ultimate example of a committed board member – he is committed to Y events, a supporter of the annual campaign and is a strong advocate in the community. He has worked tirelessly to establish relationships and collaborations with other organizations for the improvement of the Xenia Y.  

Steve also serves on the board of directors of the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce, the board of the Xenia Community Schools Foundation, the board of the Xenia-Xenia Township Joint Economic Development District, the Faith Community United Methodist Church Leadership Team and is a member of the Xenia Rotary Club. Steve always keeps the Y in the forefront in all the areas in which he serves, and doesn’t hesitate to promote the Y or make sure we are kept in the loop.

Our branch continues to excel under his leadership and we are truly grateful for all of his hard work and effort!

The award was presented during the YMCA's 143rd Annual Meeting at the David H. Ponitz Center at Sinclair in Dayton on March 13th. The event raised over $22,000 for the YMCA's Annual Campaign and consisted of a silent auction, dinner and a program where volunteers and staff were recognized for their contributions to the success of the YMCA of Greater Dayton.
