FREE WEEKLY JOB FOCUS SUPPORT GROUP

Springboro – 01/16/13 – The job loss and local economy has impacted a large population in the Miami Valley. David Thompson, Group Vice President of the Coffman Family YMCA in Springboro, has announced the start of a new Job Focus Group.

“The purpose of this new group is to provide job seekers with opportunities to network, gain support and encouragement from group participants, and learn job search skills and techniques,” explained David.

The job support group meetings will be held at the Coffman YMCA in Springboro, every Tuesday from 9am to 11am, starting February 12th.

The group will be led by Ed Massie.  Massie will bring over three decades of HR management, recruiting, training, and career development experience to the group.

Participation in the group is free and is open to the general public, but space is limited. Anyone interested in participating should contact the Coffman YMCA at 937-886-9622.

Participants are welcome to bring their ‘brown bag breakfasts’ – coffee and support will be provided.

The Coffman YMCA is located at 88 Remick Blvd. in Springboro.
