Coffman Family YMCA Recognizes Board Leaders

eileen presents to ed wadeSpringboro, Ohio – September 28, 2012 – At the September meeting of the Coffman Family YMCA Board of Directors,  the Board celebrated the achievements of two outstanding leaders.  Ed Wade was honored as a Board Member for Life of the Coffman Family YMCA.  The designation of Board Member for Life is an honorary position designed to recognize extraordinary service to the Coffman Family YMCA.  The Board of the Coffman Family YMCA unanimously decided to grant this recognition to Mr. Wade based upon the leadership he has demonstrated to the Board, his length of service to the YMCA, his strong community leadership and service, as well as being a person who possesses strong moral character.  Eileen Hartlage, outgoing Board President, said of Mr. Wade “Your leadership played an instrumental role in bringing the Springboro and Clearcreek Township community together in order to establish and build the Coffman Family YMCA”.  Mr. Wade is the first Board Member of the Coffman Family YMCA to receive such an honor.

roger presents to eileenEileen Hartlage, of Hammerman, Graf, Hughes, was recognized for her service as the Chairman of the Board of the Coffman Family YMCA over the past two years.  Ms. Hartlage began her role as Chairman in September of 2010 and has served with zeal and dedication over that time.  David Thompson, Group Vice-President of the Coffman Family YMCA, said of Ms. Hartlage “Eileen has done a tremendous job presiding over the affairs of our Board these past two years.  Her commitment to kids and the mission of the YMCA is evident whenever you spend time with Eileen.  I am so grateful for her service to the Y and the Springboro Community”.  Roger Hendricks, Senior Minister of Southwest Church, is now the new Chairman of the Board.  Doug Hewitt, of WinWholesale, was elected as the new Vice-Chairman.
