Chuck Snyder received award of appreciation

[Dayton, OH 3/19/12] – The YMCA of Greater Dayton is pleased to recognize Chuck Snyder as President’s Award winner this year.

pres_award_-_chuck.jpgFor over 40 years, Chuck Snyder has been working to make YMCA Camp Kern an amazing experience for the kids and families that participate in programs. Anywhere you look at camp, you see Chuck’s immaculate work - from the cabins in main camp to the recently completed tree house village, Chuck has left a forty year legacy in every area of the camp.

Chuck will be retiring this fall, but his lifelong commitment to the Y will continue long beyond his retirement as kids will continue to enjoy his work for years to come.

Chuck’s dedication to the Y makes our community a better place.

The award was presented during the YMCA's 141st Annual Meeting at the David H. Ponitz Center at Sinclair in Dayton recently. The event raised over $22,000 for the YMCA's annual Strong Kids Campaign and consisted of a silent auction, dinner and a program where volunteers and staff were recognized for their contributions to the success of the YMCA of Greater Dayton.
