Huber Heights Y Announces Volunteer of the Year
Pam Sunderland received award of appreciation

[Dayton, OH 04/01/11] – Pam Sunderland was awarded the Huber Heights YMCA volunteer of the year.  Pam has served on the Huber Heights YMCA board since 2005 as a member of the inaugural class. From 2005 to 2007 Pam served as the first Board Chair of the Huber Heights YMCA. Throughout her tenure, Pam has been an integral member of our board bringing knowledge and balance that helps keep our group focused on the objectives at hand.

The award was presented during the YMCA's 140th Annual Meeting at the David H. Ponitz Center at Sinclair in Dayton recently. The event raised over $19,000 for the YMCA's annual Strong Kids Campaign.

The event consisted of a silent auction, dinner and a program where volunteers and staff were recognized for their contributions to the success of the YMCA of Greater Dayton.

We thank Pam for her past, present and continued support and dedication to the Huber Heights Y. We owe her many thanks for her devotion.

Pam Sunderland is a hero to the Huber Heights YMCA.
