5K Run/Walk at Coffman

Springboro, Ohio – August 09, 2011 – The Coffman Family Y will be hosting its annual 5K walk/run that will be held at the Coffman Family Y. Enjoy a day full of fun for all ages with the Coffman Family Y on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 2 p.m. The three events that will be taking place are the 5k walk/run, Kids Fun Run and Diaper Dash. Don’t hold back! Tell all your family and friends to join the fun at the Y.


All participants will have the opportunity to win door prizes. The overall male and female winners of the run will receive a pair of running shoes from Soccer Plus. The overall male and female walker will receive a gift certificate from Soccer Plus. Each participant will receive a medal as they cross the finish line. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register before race day and is entered into the raffle for a polar heart rate monitor.


Runners and Walkers who register between July 1st and September 30th  only pay $15! Signing up after September 30th will be $20 and day of the race $25. Kids Fun Run will be held for ages 4-10 at $10 a person and $15 day of race. The races consist of 25 yards for 4-6 years old, 40 yards for 7-8 years old, and 50 yards for 9-10 years old. Diaper Dash starts from 18 months to 3 years old for $5. An additional $5 will be charge for each additional child.
