Xenia YMCA Offers Support Group for Job Seekers

DAYTON, Ohio – February 16, 2009 –  The Xenia YMCA will begin hosting and sponsoring a weekly Support Group for individuals in the community who are presently searching for a job.  The YMCA of Greater Dayton has recognized the need to provide support for individuals who have been personally affected by the increased loss of employment in our region.

This Support Group will meet on Wednesdays at noon beginning February 18th at the Xenia YMCA, 135 E. Church Street.  The group will be led by Rex Robinson, a trained facilitator, and will provide support and encouragement to individuals who are dealing with the stress of being without employment and the challenges of searching for a job.  Anyone in the community that would benefit from this support group sponsored by the YMCA is welcome to attend at no cost.

Contact Karen Earley at (937) 376-9622 for more information.
