YMCA OF GREATER DAYTON ANNOUNCES NEW INCOME-BASED MEMBERSHIP PLAN

January 12, 2005- The YMCA of Greater Dayton is a not-for-profit, health and human services organization committed to helping ALL people grow in spirit, mind and body. To insure that our programs and services are available for ALL, the YMCA recently adopted a new Income Based Membership Plan that provides membership rates based on the gross annual household income of each adult or family that joins the YMCA.

“YMCAs around the country have moved to Income Based Membership as a way to provide the same quality of services at a cost that is affordable for each individual family,” said Tim Helm, President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Dayton. “Our YMCA saw the need for this program here in the Dayton community and we have seen a wonderful response to our new membership plan.”
