Kleptz YMCA Announces 2004 Volunteer of the Year

March 16, 2004 - The YMCA of Greater Dayton recently held its 133rd Annual Meeting at the Schuster Center in Dayton. The event raised close to $17,000 for the YMCA’s annual Strong Kids Campaign. The event consisted of a silent auction with over 300 items, dinner and a program. Volunteers and staff were both recognized for their contributions to the success of the YMCA of Greater Dayton.

During the program, the Kleptz YMCA recognized Stuart Price as their 2004 Volunteer of the Year. Stuart is a long-time volunteer on both the program level and the board level for the Kleptz YMCA, whose involvement with the YMCA goes back to before the Kleptz YMCA was even built. Stuart and his wife assisted in the capital campaign to build the new YMCA and he has also been a strong advocate for the Strong Kids Campaign. Stuart currently serves as the Board Chair at the Kleptz YMCA a position he stepped into at a critical time for the YMCA and has been a tremendous asset to the Kleptz branch. Despite Stuart’s busy schedule, balancing his job at Electro Polish in Dayton and his family, he always makes time to serve the YMCA. Stuart is a great example of sacrifice and dedication.
