The YMCA of Greater Dayton Offers FREE Memberships for 7th & 8th Graders this Summer

Local kids will have a place to work out, hang out, and give back this summer!

The YMCA of Greater Dayton is proud to provide free memberships to 7th & 8th graders this summer, June 1st–August 30th, at all 12 of their Greater Dayton locations. With free memberships, these 7th & 8th graders are also allowed to participate in scheduled programs and activities that encourage and

 teach the YMCA core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.

Programs and activities at each location vary in their offerings of times and activities, but most locations can expect activities and programs including games, crafts, sports, service projects, character building, mentoring, teamwork, and much more!

Signing up is easy –go to any of your YMCA of Greater Dayton locations with your 7th or 8th grader – bring in verification from their school stating that they are entering the 7th or 8th grade, fill out an application at the Y, and you’ll be ready to go! The Y hopes that these free memberships offer teens the opportunity to thrive, grow, and make our communities a better place.
